Facilitation Services

The Resource Group provides a custom agenda for each facilitated session to accommodate your time frame, logistics and budget.

Crafting a successful plan for your organization requires a facilitator that encourages your associates to help develop and write your new plan. In doing so, they will support achieving the final goals and objectives for your organization. Clyde Hoey has received high evaluations for his ability to achieve total participation from his audience with the development of desired results which feature specific achievable and measurable objectives.

The Resource Group employs the following steps in preparation for providing their Facilitation Services:

Step 1: Information Preview

Reviewing information including but not limited to past annual reports, strategic plans, vision and mission statements. Following this review, an interview by telephone or in person with your leadership will fully identify your expectations of the facilitation services to be provided.

Step 2: Status Reports (Optional)

(Optional) A Status Report is developed during this process if the client believes the on-site interviews will enhance the overall results of the facilitation service. The time and expense for this process will vary due to the size of each organization and the logistics required gathering the information. Status Reports add a substantial expense to the process and are OPTIONAL for each client.

  • Status Reports are developed from confidential and anonymous interviews with company employees and if required, customers. Many corporate leaders want to know what is really happening inside their organizations prior to the planning session. Our ability to interview and digest information while keeping each interview anonymous and confidential provides open and honest feedback while offering planning session participants a true pulse of the company's inner workings.
  • These interviews allow lower level, as well as higher level input for the planning session. Interviews are designed to provide productive solutions and ideas without becoming a complaint session.

Step 3: Facilities Tour

The day prior to the planning session, our facilitator will arrive for a familiarization tour of the organization. A cursory background of the business provides enough information to ask appropriate questions during the actual facilitation.

Step 4: Pre-Event Preview Social

The evening before the planning facilitation, it is required that a 90- minute strategy meeting/social presentation be held to provide time to adjust the agenda and to review the issues that are to be addressed during the facilitation. This will provide your leadership with an opportunity to express their vision of the meeting as well as present new information for consideration.

  • (It is recommended that spouses are encouraged to attend the social preview meeting. Many times, a spouse that is somewhat familiar with the company may hear the trends and/or ideas and later offer a new insight that insiders may never have thought about...)

Step 5: Planning Session

It is suggested that the most successful planning sessions are conducted between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The lunch session should begin prior to noon and the afternoon session must begin before 1:00 p.m.

  • The agenda provided by The Resource Group is proprietary to allow the meeting to be spontaneous. Participants will have a brief look at the agenda the evening before the planning session but our agenda remains confidential in order to keep everyone working together.
  • (Our facilitation service agreement is for a one-day service. Clients may choose to split the planning session agenda into two days to allow for more social activities if the event is held out of town or off-sight.)

Step 6: Benchmark Agenda

The strategic goals identified and prioritized during the planning session will be provided to the client in the form of an ongoing meeting agenda. This allows the client to keep the vision, mission, goals and objectives in front of all participants at future meetings.

Step 7: Non-Profit Funding Opportunity

The Resource Group offers any non-profit organization the opportunity to promote and sell our one hour disaster planning seminar to create new income to assist with the expenses required to contract our facilitation services.

  • This service is usually held the morning following the facilitation service in a one-hour format. A minimum $49 individual registration fee is recommended for a successful event. A recommended $500 corporate sponsorship would allow 10-15 attendees from a sponsoring organization and increase the revenues needed to offset or cover our facilitation service fees. 50% of total seminar revenue is paid to The Resource Group for this additional service and the remaining income less expenses, remains with the non-profit client to offset facilitation fees and expenses.
